Here at HF Fabrication we make all sorts of brackets. Here is an example of a small production run of a bend we did for a metal fabrication job. This job required us to cut and bend 1/4″ mild steel. We then used a flame hardened 2″ “V” die from https://midwestpressbrake.com/. This made quick work of bending the piece of 1/4″ mild steel plate in order to make a 90 degree bracket. Working with the customer we were able to help cut costs by offering different cutting methods. As a result, collaborating through these questions and processes allows us to provide the best possible product that fits into the required budget. For instance, on this job we used an oxy-acetylene torch to cut the shape. The customer didn’t need to have perfect edges and we were able to met their needs at the lowest price. Our 10′ brake press bed allows us to not just make long bends, but in this case allowed us to do several at once for higher efficiency volume production. These capabilities fit the needs for virtually any metal fabrication job. Finally, our close relationships with metal suppliers allows us to offer the lowest prices in material costs. Although, feel free to bring your own materials and we will work with you. Check out our Portfolio for our other fabrication examples.
